Well, it's been a crazy week so far, and it's only halfway done!
Fortunately, things have calmed down between the ex and I. After a brief verbal spat on monday after the doctor appointment (Ava is okay!) we kinda let things cool down and I think we are back to being civil with each other, which is about the best I can really hope for. I'm still not sure when she's planning on getting the rest of her stuff out of here, but that's something we can work out in the next month. Thank god our lease at this place is about up. soooooooooooo ready to be out of this shithole.
On that note, I found a new place!!! It's a decent size 1br place. the bedroom is big enough to fit my king size bed and all of the furniture, which is great. The living room is alright size, but at least big enough to handle all my crap. It's in a much better neighborhood than where I currently am, with good access to bike paths and parks for the little one. Its hard to describe how much I want to get out of the current place, besides it being awful. It will be so nice to finally get a place of my own without so many memories connected to the ex. It's a chance for a new beginning, and I cannot wait.
Another good note: Finally met Copper_Fyre ! Very cool girl with a kickass bar tending job

But yeah, the week has improved a lot from Sunday, and I hope the trend continues. It's good to be back amongst my SG friends, and I'll try to keep in touch more!
