Dear My Subconscious,
I get it, okay? I get the point. My job is tedious. It's beneath me. It doesn't interest me or stimulate me in any way. At one point that was useful to me, and it's not anymore, but there's nothing I can do about it now. So can we knock off the dreams please?
I'm really not as pissed off as that makes me sound. My life is very exciting and fulfilling in every aspect but this. I'm just awfully sick of spending all day at a tedious job and then settling down for a nice sleep, only to dream about said tedious job all night. Please, My Subconscious, indulge me in this tiny request. Thanks.

For the record: my phone was actually dying. It turned itself off not two minutes after I started eating my pizza. I still haven't charged it.
