First thunder storm of the year, and it's about damn time. My car has needed washing for a couple of weeks. Thanks, nature, for doing it for me.

I took myself out for breakfast this morning, and inadvertently flirted with a cop. I thought I was just being friendly, but I guess there was a wink in there somewhere. Oops.

I'm glad my mother taught me to sew, at least well enough to repair my favorite pair of pinstripe pants instead of throwing them out. Thanks, Mom.

I'm thinking about my cousin today. It's a good day for a bit of melancholy.
