a girl in my class today said she hated rent. i had to bite my tongue so i wouldnt be like "bitch. what is wrong with you?"
maybe the movie isnt the best thing EVER but the play is, the concept is, the music is. on stage it takes your breath away and makes you feel alive.
it makes me happy when people discover rent and like it. the whole movie thing might upset me though...i don't want it to become the new cool thing and everyone to start liking in a way....yes, i want the rent love to spead....but i dont want it to be all....nightmare before christmas and get commericialised so much that people want to chop their heads off.
rent is really important to me. in fact whenever i get the money, my next tattoo, which i have been planning for YEARS AND YEARS is going to involve rent. so you know it means something to me.

I wish I could see the play, I never have. I hated the preview, it looked so stupid to me. Don't worry, though, I didn't think that was how the play would be. The preview just completely turned me off from ever seeing the movie though.
