Homework : What did you want to be as a kid, and what is your profession now?

Heyo ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ

When I was a little kid I was very very into Egypt, I wanted to be an egyptologist for maybe 10 years. I collected a lot of stuff about it and even learned to read the hieroglyphs. It went for a very long time, my room looked like the inside of a pyramid, i played games and watched movies only about it !

Then in middle school I found another passion for ecology, animals, nature overall (I used to ride horses a lot) and wanted to be a vet for quite some time !
I ended up doing none of these things, it's very fine cause I always had an interest in a lot of things.

See, I used to catch bugs all the time when I went to the countryside with my family. I kept them and had a lot of tools to study them (I kept a family of spiders in a hidden terra in my room until my mom found it and flipped it off the window). It was my fave thing to do in Animal Crossing to catch em :p When I began photography it was one of my fave things to shoot as well, macro shots of insects and such. So when I got myself my first appartment, I wanted to hang framed butterflies and beetles on my walls, but had a hard time finding them online (very fragile, very expensive from abroad, etc...).
So... I made my own.

Now i sell them !

I continue to breed some species in terrariums and enjoy seeing them grow (take that, mom). To be honest it does not pay much. Not anymore at least. A lot of people are doing the same in my small country now ^^

It is often not enough and I always have to make sacrifices, but what I can afford NOT to sacrifice, is my happiness and my mental health to some psycho boss and bitching colleagues ◉‿◉ And this is priceless !

I hope you guys enjoyed my work and like nature as much as I do !

Thank you for bearing with my long blogs as always ( ̄▽ ̄)ゞ

Ah oui oui, je sais que c'est pourtant assez inoffensif mais je sais pas, ça doit être le nombre de pattes et l'excédent de "poils" xD Ma mère en a peur aussi, ça peut venir de là ^^'
