Last class of the semester is tomorrow!

(then I'm going camping with my family!)
On a completely unrelated note, I hate when customers at work, (teenage girls), try to flirt with me when they're purchasing books from the Twilight series.
"Have you read these? They're sooooooo good!"
Now, what I want to say is that Stephanie Meyer is a fucking terrible writer. Her grammar is awful. Her syntax is terrible. And most of all, her writing is "safe". There is nothing in it that is shocking, challenging, or even creative or original. I tried to read Twilight, but I couldn't make it past the second chapter. With each paragraph, I found myself wanting to "correct" her writing. I wanted to fix all of the errors in her "Teen Novel". Honestly, I don't think her intent was to write a "Teen Novel", but I think that the publishers saw a money making opportunity in her poorly written novel, and dumped it in the "Teen" genre.
How do I respond?
"Will it be cash, check, or credit?"
Ignoring their question, is easier than giving them my opinion.
I do this with the Right-Wing Republicans.
I do this with the White-Supremacists.
I do this with the Jesus Freaks.
I do this with Stephanie Meyer fans.
And please, don't respond to this with "If it's so bad, why has it sold so many copies?", because I will respond with "Milli Vanilli and Mein Kampf sold millions of copies too."
Just because it sells, doesn't mean it's "good".
