So living here is pretty cool aside from all the idiots. Yesterday I go get on the bus to go home and the thing is packed (not unusual). When it gets to standing room only none of the people standing ever move back past the back exit, so there's usually tons of standing room in the back of the bus that no one is filling up. Well I get on and manage get to the back of the bus, figuring I'll leave some room for someone else to get on, and when I get to the back I cannot believe what I see. There is this girl taking up not two but THREE spaces on one of the bench seats in the back. She looked way too xenophobic and pampered to be riding a city bus so I don't know what she was doing, Maybe daddy's BMW broke down. Anyway she had her back against the corner and her legs in the seat (two seats) and she had a couple of books kind of sprawled into the next seat.

Maybe this doesn't bother other people but I thought it was pretty fucking rude. The bus driver is about to start telling people they have to wait for the next bus and this girl is taking up three seats for no good reason. Well I was already sick, and that pissed me off. So I made it clear with my body language that I was coming back there to sit in that seat. She just sat there staring at me until my butt was moving toward the seat, at which point she snatched up her books into her lap. She glared at me most of the way to my stop.

Now I've had my share of acting like an obnoxious asshole in public, but it really pisses me off when people have no common courtesy. Things like cutting lines, talking on cell phones in movie theatres, and taking three seats on crowded bus really fucking get me.
