So I am off to jam with a band tonight. It's as much of a supergroup as you can get around the parts without having someone from The Specials in the band!
The rest of the guys have played in some of my favourite bands (signed or unsigned) so I hope I can click with them! I'm really bloody nervous.
The band I played in was a part of me, we were even more than family: the drummer is my cousin; we're six weeks apart and are more like brothers, the singer is my best friend; after he conned me out of 20p in the playground we've been on so many life journey's, we even went to Uni together, then the guitarist is a friend I've had since I was 7; in terms of personality he's the closest to me.
Music we made was coincidental to everything else.
This new journey may be a dead end, we'll see after tonight hey!
