My band are playing the Bar Academy in Birmingham this weekend and then we're off down to Camden to play. We can't wait!!! I'm going to be using a lovely new Rickenbacker 3001 I got from the states for some of the set and we'll it's in the run up to our debut single being released so we're all pretty high at the moment!

I have a bit of a love/hate thing going on with Barfly. They're usually well equipped (soundguy, decent monitors, mics and good sized stage) to play, but I hate the type of audiences they attract - indie hipsters, generally. Plus, I think they never know what to think of my band. No one knows what sound we have, which is good, but can be incredibly difficult in terms of knowing who and where to play to.
