I have man flu,

I ache.

I played in a charity footy match yesterday and I wished it had been called off so I could play when I was well. But we didn't lose.

We had a gig today.

The guitarist went to see Ian Brown, Mani, Andy O'Rourke in Manchester last night. Got 2 hours sleep and just made it to the gig we were playing (a festival) and his amp fucked up. He tried a marshall stack. That too fucked up. We managed to get a fat fender twin.

We went on.

The drummer tried to impale me with 2 sticks in the first song.

From then on we rocked. I heard people chanting my name at the end (or was it just my ear infection) who knows but it was fucking awesome! I'm off for a lemsip like the rock god that I am!

Oh and a man with a beard kissed me after we came off stage. On the mouth! I've been beard loved!
