So I'm getting really sick of the people I normally hang out with bein boring and wanting to do the same ol shit every night...I try to get some of them to actually go to a show but they say it costs too much money to get in (it costs like 8 dollars) which is funny cause they go play poker and spend 3 times that much plus buy beer while doing that...they are all seeming to lean closer and closer to white trash....aaarrggh its aggravating...and my cousin that lives with me was supposed to go to the Secret Machines show with me tonite but decided to go to some trashy ass bar with his extreme white trash "good ol boy" friend instead of goin to the show with me. Therefore all of this leaves me stuck at home....motherfucker.... whatever

Man.. I know exactly what you're talking about. When I first moved to Toronto, I only knew one guy.. Really great person, but like, all he ever wanted to do was sit in his basement apartment, drink, smoke and play video games. And now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy chillin out and playin' me some video games (especially NES, which he had tongue)... but like, shit, variety is good!

He'd spend all sorts of money on delivery food, beer, and weed.. but wouldn't go out anywhere.

Thankfully he finally wizened up, years later.. but not after us going through quite a rocky time. (I didn't speak to him for about 1.5 years).

I deal with the same thing with one group of my friends. They always want to sit around their house and drink. Which is fine once in a while. But sometimes I like to actually be out and about.
