Sooooooo...I just got back from the Mars Volta and Perfect Circle show and it was pretty impressive I thought. The Mars Volta only played 4 songs, but played extended versions of each song (basically they just kinda improvised for a while) and made 4 songs into about an hour long set. Perfect Circle was really good. I like them but have never been a huge fan, but I have tons more respect for them and especially Maynard after hearing them live. His voice is fuckin amazing. Anywase, time to get started on my research paper at almost one in the morning!

I know what you mean about Mars Volta... I saw them at the Queen Mary. They are bad ass though... They are just on their own planet.
