When did I become a housewife?!
Day off today, so I cleaned up everywhere. As in scrub, hoover, dust, wash, preen, repot, replant, dismantle, clean and put back together.
Ok perhaps less housewifey was cleaning up my PC, fitting new heat sinks, backing it all up and formatting everything. I then took the plunge and installled Vista Ultimate. I'm not sure what's so Ultimate about it, it doesn't crush anything, nor does it get you laid, nor does it cook you dinner.
That's when I got back on the housewife track and cooked dinner for all the family...when they eventually got here.
I then got pissed off and threw a mood.
My new favourite song is "That Time" by Regina Spektor. It's an album track.
Saw her play 'Fidelity' on BBC2 the other night, live and unaccompanied on the pilinky plionker. Was much better than the album version.
She should have gone all unplugged for it.
Anyway.
Looking for a new place, it's limited around here when you're on your own. Places are expensive.
I'm off to have a cry and feel unappreciated. Then I'll make a mental list of my many faults and failings and what I should have done with my life. Then get knocked up.
Thus completeing my transformation into a pissy little Irish housewife.
