Planning to get tickets today for the Ladytron concert in London Astoria. I like their sound and the lead singer is cute.
DJ Erol Alkan will be spinning there too. I've heard one mix CD of Alkan's that he did for Muzik magazine and it was brilliant. He takes the best bitws of Elektroclash and House and mixes them together or finds records that have that sound already, it's brilliant stuff.

Also in store for today, while we are downtown getting the tickets, Sarah will also be showing me around her favourite shopping spots, including the best sci-fi shops. She's crazy about science fiction.

Somebody looking like me?? I always get excited at the thought. I had (well, I suppose I still do) a second-or-third-or-whatever cousin, half Italian, whom I met twice- I think? Well, anyway, were related, but not very close; still, we looked amazingly alike! She with dark hair and brown eyes, me with blue eyes and ginger blonde hair (back when I was....ten? Eleven? Twelve?), but our facial features were very alike...and it was really strange.

oh yes-ava nad hughes actually dated. he was quite the ladies man. funny thin is that the movie is actually ABOUT his relationships with ava and with katherine hepburn. very strange.....
