Had a weird experience last night.

I can't quite recall the details off what set it off, but it all began in a dream where I picked up a book I was reading and read the first paragraph in a chapter I had originally left for later. The book was a red fabric bound volume. I don't know what it was about. The paragraph turned out to be rather negative and disturbing and I remember distinctly thinking in my dream "Oh great, that's all I need is this negative vibe in my head."

I put the book away in my dream, and in my dream I lie down and close my eyes.

That's when this strange scream begins in my head. It's a combination of three sounds. A very high-pitched human scream; the scream of high-frequency interference from a radio; the scream of metal rubbing against itself and tearing....sort of how a machine might scream if it could.

At first it was localised in my head in the dream, but then it grew to fill my ears as well. It got painfully loud even though it was existing only in my auditory centre of the brain. I then felt my real body opening it's mouth and a scream, a high-pitch scream seem to emanate from my lungs. I have no idea if it was loud, I have no idea if I just dreamed it, but I'm sure that I had my mouth open and I was breathing out. It was the same pitch and creepy energy as the scream in my head and ears. Throughout that scream I kept wondering if my landlady would hear it, wake up and get spooked.

As I was screaming I felt the distinct sensation of a strong wind rushing around me. I could feel my skin and hair whipping around violently. It seemed to travel up from my feet to my head and originated from me.

I felt pressed into the bed, and felt something akin to hands at the top of the back of my thighs (I was sleeping on my stomach at the time) pressing the hardest there. I don't know if they were hands, but I know that's how my mind wants to classify it. I wasn't completely paralysed though.

After a relatively short time, I reached my right hand up and jabbed hard into the side of my skull saying "STOP THAT!" in my mind and with my voice. And the sensation of wind, screaming and pressure all vanished instantly.

I then felt weird, tired, but I got up, lit some incense and called tryptamine long distance to get some grounding. No one else I know would have been awake. Well, no one I had a phone number to.

I'm a skeptic these days, and I read nothing into the events above. It felt very real certainly. And I clamped down viciously on that part of my mind that started imagining eyeballs in the walls and shadows drifting around. I wasn't interested in being freaked out by my own imagination.

Wow...
Strange encounter with your mind.. Sounds like a bit of a lucid dream, that is, if you were able to consciously will things to happen in seeming "real time"
Definately an interesting story though..

Laibach. I have some of their stuff on my computer.
They remind me of Ramstein a bit... On the album i have, they seem to emphasize God a lot.. its an okay album, but not one to hear over and over..
Have a good time at the show tho. I hope you enjoy it.

Take care Vas.
