Another weird dream, but it's much shorter.

This time I found myself in a large transport plane. The model I'm thinking of is the C-5 Galaxy....one of the largest aircraft in the US Air Force. It can fit 4 M-1 Abrams MBT's in it and fly them anywhere in the world. This won't mean anything to those with no interest in military hardware but basically...

I heard Michio Kaku talking about it in interview. Once they realize their own dimensional limitations, they can jump out of them and hop to the next level. Yes, I know about that hypothesis of Terrence's, the magic mushrooms of evolution...

Oh I'm a big fan of Zombies. Not too sure why. They seem more disturbing than vampires or werewolves as the aforementions seem naturally evil, seductive, destructive. While zombies are totally against 'natural order' being simply reanimated corpses with just killing in what could be called the excuse for thier minds. The sight of the shambling, mouldering dead is more appealing than Dracula for example. Dunno, probably just me. I'm odd like that. And there's often a black humour in it too. Braindead especially. And as you mentioned, the Evil Dead films. The scene in Dawn of the Dead is compelling too, even when dead the zombies return to the shopping centre that dominated their commercial existence.
I've got some old Star Wars techinal blueprint magazine at my parents place. I think you're spot on with the Star Destroyers. I cant say for sure with the Eclipse as these were just on the movies. Those were good, it has the complete lay out of the Falcon in them.

From the dreams you describe, it seems to me you have a great recall for details. I tried a dream diary too, but it didnt work out in the end.

I have here an actual personal dream I just finished this morning...about an hour ago.

This dream is significant because it evolved over two nights.

On Friday night, when I went to bed, I dreamt I was in a Singapore style apartment building. This is usually tastefully exposed red brick, with the borders and actual load-bearing structures in smooth steel-reinforced concrete painted white or a...

Apparently some of the Mayan elders have expressed irritation at the fact that we're advertising 2012 as the end of the world. Funny, though, that Terrence McKenna came up with the same date independently of this knowledge in his novelty wave theory. Yes, some obviously extend this to mean an ending to the present 'age' as opposed to an all-conclusive eschaton.

I got the Dr Who them on an old vinyl record from way back when I was a wee sprog.

Did you ever see the special where a vortex sucks all the doctors into the forbidden zone? All the old enemies all the doctors, a lot of the companians and the quest for immortality! That was a good one.

Question: More fearsome foe. Darleks or Cybermen. Each have thier own strengths and weaknesses but which did you prefer?

EDIT: I just watched the first 30 minutes of Amelie. I just noticed something....is it just me or is there really a sort of characteristic 'look' for people depending on where they're from?
The actress from Amelie looks...well..Really French! Like all the other french actresses I know about and have seen...and Swedish girls look swedish...and girls from the UK and...

Billy the Kid isnt as bad as Meet the Feebles luckily. Except for when the farmer and his wife get it on. Thats one of the few movie moments that have ever bothered me. Good film though.

As well as the look, it may have something to do with mannerisms and body language?

New Profile Pic: Me, 12 years old. X'mas 1989. In my grey UWC cardigan.

Anybody here know what UWC is?

EDIT: There are some things I'm too scared, too disturbed by, to share with anyone.

Do you have this feeling too?

EDIT 2: I keep getting these intense dreams that have been waking me the same time at 3am in the morning for the last...

I wish I had seen that Milligan sketch. That one sounds bloody excellent. I just been rereading his books on his experiances in the 2nd World War, classic reads those. And speaking of Darleks, in an old C64 game called Paradroid, ship robot security model 883 was a Darlek, class. The Cybermen were great too.

I got a raise for this month. my wage goes up from 65kr/hour to 70kr/hour. With my current hours I'll be getting close to 7,000kr a month. After tax that'll be more like 6,000kr. minimum monthly for reasonable living standards and some ability to save or spend on consumer items or investment is 10,000kr. I have about 2,000kr still left from last paycheque. which is...

Also, reading Holy Blood, Holy Grail is giving me those exciting yet creepy heebie-jeebies. I didn't even know it was over 20 years old!!! It was first printed in 1982!

Erik the Viking is supurb, a friends got my copy of it at the moment. I got to get it back, been so long since I saw it. Speaking of films in general, Spaceballs is another I havnt watched for a while, your profile reminded of it.

Thanks for the DeGrimston pic, looks very impressive. Glad you managed to translate my email, I'd just got in from the pub and didnt think to use normal english rather than local banter. Ah well.

I am reading Florence Littauer's 'Personality Plus' book. It's basis is the Four Temperaments personality types system first taught by Hippocrates.

These are my scores out of a total 40 points:
Popular Sanguine - 0 (tryptamine definitely has lots of points in this basic personality type smile but not dominantly)
Powerful Choleric - 3
Perfect Melancholy - 20 (no surprise here)
Peaceful Phlegmatic - 17 (surprised)...

my all-time best time for conquering 'FFII' is 21 hours and some change, but that was very bare-bones. my perfect game (lv. 99 for everyone, every side mission completed) is 99+ hours, and i still have that saved from when i first began playing it in middle school tongue
