What a crazy fucked up day! I was working my ass off at the restaurant. The weekend shift didn't prepare half the stuff they were supposed to so it delayed my rhythm by a full half hour to fix their mess....and totally negated any benefits of me getting to work half an hour earlier (I have the key to the place and start it up...

Fudge Krusty! I can't sleep....
I can actually see results now from working out at the boxing gym. It's really noticeable in my upper arms, and I'm losing the fat around my waist. I don't have a belly, it's just that stubborn last layer everyone has, and few can get rid off...but it's going, oh yes, it's going...

Well, yes, your entry...and my tug of war with how the West has bastardized education so that it can't even FIND its mother to fuck. I tried it a little and was too mentally disorganized to continue, still undiagnosed w/ bipolar, bla bla bla...I had some psychosis and dissociation, some people thought I was developmentally challenged. I know a prof did, until he read my essay (on necromancy), then he graded me perhaps extra harshly -it was a Catholic school and I was a witch before the craft was marketed by Hot Topic. Did a little time at Gonzaga in WA state and at La Sorbonne, then dropped out and into acting school. GU won't release my transcript to the Ca. Institute of Integral Studies, where I'd like to go into clinical psych, b/c it claims, falsely, that I owe them $. (The crap only exists on the conceptual plane anyway. It's entirely subjective, a buyer's market construct, perhaps also a method of containing resources, but the shit has no inherent value...Sorry, I digress, but it gits me frothin at the bit). CIIS is an alternative school, connected w the Naropa Institute, with cohorts instead of hierarchical classes. As for the piece of paper, can't somebody hack in?

Good choices.
Reading would be the best, with Edinburgh a close second (the Uni is almost in the centre of Edinburgh, and it's a wonderful city...and the pubs NEVER shut!!!)
I'll check out that other website, thanks for the recommendation. I love Swedish efficiency!

An old friend said something to me that just made me hurt so badly inside, that seemed like such a violation of me. A knife twist in the heart like I never felt before. He said he couldn't be blamed for my reaction, he was simply a messenger of Truth. But I deeply and utterly...

wow, you aged a lot in the last week. remarkably well, actually.
i'll see if i can get together a few dark electronic dub recommendations for you. i'm pretty new to it myself, but there was a comp put out by Middle Earth Records a few years back that was pretty solid. "dark fonque" i think. oh yeah, never hear boymerang...although i know a load of people who are into him.

Nah man, the pic is of some girls that were at Cherry's gig the other night...'my favourite barmaid' would be even less amused than she is at the moment if I whacked her pic on here!
Thanks for the book recommendation, I'll check it out...
BTW, how cool is 'hotstuff.se'?
I order from them and they send me things faster than Amazon in the UK does...and they have more Hellacopters and Sahara Hotnights stuff too!

Finally figured out where my Webcam hid all the snapshots it was apparently making of me. And there is my wonderful face for all to see. Hope this gives you all a good larf. No wonder people say I look like a cartoon sometimes.
I will be coming up with some new ways to make a total fool of myself so stay tuned to this...

OK, I wasn't sure if the previous pic was just very old or if you had a thyroidal disorder. No offense, you were a very cute kid. I just wasn't sure if it was from your childhood or the present era.

My missus reckons Readings your best bit. Recomended apparently. I'm clueless
I'd also add Edingburgh, not only a good uni but a lovely city too. My birthcity nonetheless! If you ever do go there the Jeckyll and Hyde pub is very good indeed
I have so got to get a webcam to bugger around with.

WOW! The latest edition of my War Watch semi-newsletter eMail took me 2 hours to compile. I am going to be very tired for work tomorrow. This unfortunately also means that I will not get around to posting my essay on Reality Tunnels.
But I can try to make it up if you want. Just let me know if you'd like to get a copy...

Don't think you missed all that much. Usual board related shenanigans and so forth.
British Sea Power sounds an unusual group. Very vivid description of thier image there.
As to the UK Uni's, I don't know too much about them as I skipped Uni and went straight to work after college. The only University I know much about is Brunel in Uxbridge as my girlfriend goes there, good for mathematics and engineering. I can always ask my girlfriend anything you need to know, she may have the answers.

By this weekend I hope to be posting an essay to this site. It'll be in a thread rather than in my journal because it'll be pretty long. I was inspired by a dream I had Monday night and I want to share some epiphanies I had about gender roles in asian society and how reality tunnels clash between cultures.
Meanwhile I'll just put here...

I've only tinkered with commodore 64 emulators. I should get hold of some others, there's many great games I'd like to play again, Golden Axe being one of them. I never considered the modding aspects with tinkering with the games. Golden Axe with infinite magic sounds good.
The X-Men I played was an 8 player scrolling beat em up. Entertaining enough with a few mates. Certainly helped kill a few hours when I should have been in Chemistry or some other lesson. A 3D version would be good. But what era of the X-Men? There's been so many different incarnations and storylines over the years.
The little kid was indeed annoying. I was hoping he'd get kebabed on a spear or something.

looking forward to the essay...should be something to see. you should expose your mind to the rest of us more often.
ON Sunday nights I am reluctant to go to bed, though I know I would benefit from being properly rested for the first day of the work week. A good Monday often preludes a good 5 day routine. But it takes effort.

I remember the Snow Bros game, I played it few times but most of my 10p's were spent on Golden Axe and Space Harrier. The MP arcades I played the most were Moonwalker, X-Men and Asterix. Asterix was great, picking up menhirs and bashing people with them, it was like being in the comic.
I still like some of the 80's bands, aside from Duran Duran and Madness I listened to Kim Wylde, Adam and the Ants, Aha, Spandau Ballett and so on. I rake out the records and give em a spin every so often. Makes a change from my usual listening.
Willow was indeed good. When you mentioned red head I thought for a split second Red Sonja/Bridgette Nielson, but Joanne Whaley is much better as Sorsha (however its spelt) Dungeons and Dragons was dire, I only watched it once and wanted to shot myself afterwards, what a waste of a film liscence. Jeremey Irons must have removed that off of his C.V. Dragonslayer I liked because the princess got munched
very rare in those sort of films, the hero was a ponce though. At least the exploding dragon made up for him. Heh, flame grilled dragon to go. Ladyhawke I only ever saw the once, been meaning to get hold of that. It was an interesting film, the curse was pretty unusual. One of the worst fantasy films I saw was Wizards of the Lost Kingdom. Have you seen that one?

Yes. But how does one KNOW who one's self really is if one does not test the limits once in a while. It's possible for us to undergo changes (changes in what we need) and to not even know it.

I remember Herzog Zwei. Old multiplayer games are usually the best. Ikari Warriors, Bubble Bobble, Gauntlet. Oh, I have good memories of those days.
My only concession to healthiness is I walk a lot. I really need to work out or something.

yeah "but im a cheerleader" is great movie I first saw it in the movie theater even.
Dune I cant wait til children of dune comes out on sci fi channel ( maybe it did already? I dont watch much tv anymore). I loved Kyle as Mau Dib! and people say the sci fi dune tv movie was better but I loved the lynch's take on it though the sci fi version was much longer so had more of a chance to tell the story. I loved the baron Harkonen in lynch's film. I read that Seikenwicz ( sp?) a aritst/comic book artist, (havent seen much of his stuff but I loved "stray toasters" mini series) said he wanted to make the baron super huge in his movie posters he designed just imense and bloated, large as Jabba the hut but human and floating on levitators.
They so could of done the effects, but they went with just a large fat guy instead.

Yes, bipolar is manic-d, and when a person is in between episodes s/he seems pretty normal. You may have noticed a lapse of time in between this and my last post. That's because I was depressed.
