Sunburn Sucks... and Other Tales

So, yeah, I have turned into a bit of an out door person recently, what with the rollerblading and what not. So naturally there was Drifting happening at Sibaya yesterday and I happily went along with The Banana Boy (who spent the whole time complaining that he missed his Nissan) in a awesome summer dress (because fuck it is hot and humid here). We lasted about 45minutes in the sun, until we had to go find liquid refreshments and food.

So I feel like my body is on fire because of the burn. Which is goddamn awful. For those of you who are wondering how it is that a South African born and bred can burn so easily in the sun I should be very used, it is because I got silly sensitive German skin from my biological fathers side. I love being in the sun... it just really does not love me.

I had to give up role playing for a bit. I was playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Unfortunately my kung fu partner left the school to move to Cape Town and I landed up teaching his class. That means I am once again at the kung fu school Monday through Thursday then again on Saturday mornings. Naturally I am considering just moving in. Luckily the new school premises is MUCH cooler than the last warehouse we were in.

For those of you who know the story, following my really depressive christmas blog. My friend has woken up. Still sleeps most of the time. He has major brain damage, of which I am still not sure of the extent of the damage. I know I should message his mom, but I am a bit nervous to. We shall call me Chicken Shit from now on.
