So a quick update- my daughter's T & A (tonsil and adenoidectomy) went well.. Took a little longer than usual to get out of the hospital afterwards because she was refusing to drink anything and didn't want to take her pain meds... So we stayed Thursday night and left at about 8 pm on Friday.. All the nurses and aides hated to see her leave, but I was happy to sleep in my own bed again.. She's done better since then, and today has made big improvement.. She's been taking her meds well and has even eaten some chicken and stars soup earlier in the day and some mac n cheese for dinner.. (Insert huge sigh of relief) Thanks to all of you for the nice comments on the pics I put up of her and your concern on how she did with the surgery too.. Anyhoo, I'm headed to bed right now, I'm still trying to get back some of the sleep I lost over the last couple nights.. Talk to you all soon!
