i was thinking last night that rather than a political band I want to create a philosophical band ... a band dedicated to a particular metaphysical or epistimelogical point of view, like Objectivism or Platonism.
And be *really* into it ... bands with causes only work when you are really earnest about them, otherwise it just becomes a joke.
Perhaps even an existential band ... that would be interesting ... 40 minutes of introspection and then leave the the stage without playing a note.
An Objectivist band would end up with a band of soloists.
Platonism - band would debate onstage about the ideal form the music should take.
God I am lame.
