I just saw a commercial for Green Day's new album.

This commercial called them the "Godfathers of Punk".

you know what is almost as bad as that? well actually i can think of two things.
1. in rolling stone they make the following comment about U2s new album "Bono has always claimed that they were punk rock and this album finally is."

2. when i was in the 11th grade we went to see bad religion play and they were opening up for blink 182!! FUCK THAT SHIT. blink 182 whould be worshipping the ground that they walk on and thanking the holy punk rock gods for the chance to even be on the same bill as bad religion. FUCK BLINK 182!!
