Just Another Day
I was up until ten in the morning talking to Brenda. We were practically falling asleep in our chairs. I love that girl so much, which makes this long distance relationship thing really hard. I'm a passion driven man, ruled by emotions only somewhat tempered by reason and right now I'm beating my head against a glass ceiling in our relationship. A glass ceiling I'm going to have to learn to live with for two years. It's like being in prison, counting down the days until your parole.
Anyway, I managed to sleep for a couple of hours before Little Kendra called and I talked to her on the phone for a couple of hours. I was so sleepy I was barely able to hear or communicate coherently so I ended up having to repeat myself for her or ask her to repeat herself for me every few minutes. It was like a conversation between two really drunk people, as she seemed rather tired herself. I hope she comes out this weekend so I can spend some time with her.
I got off the phone when Wyspurr got home. She took the kids with her while she ran a bunch of errands. Well, one errand that splintered into several parts and took all day while she drove Ocean and Stitch back and forth, back and forth, so that Ocean could get his check, cash it, and pay rent. Given that right now we can't even pay our own rent, I feel rather annoyed that they needed to press Wyspurr into spending most of her day driving them around. Anyway, while Wyspurr did that I tried to catch up on sleep a bit more.
