T-Minus 12 Days Until Birthday Bash
Yes, I am an idiot. In my last entry specifically about my birthday party, I said there was only 10 days left until my party when there was in fact 17 days left. My stupid ass somehow dropped a week.
It keeps growing and growing. I had no idea I knew so many great people in Atlanta, nor how many of my out of state friends would plan to travel hundreds of miles for one of my parties. Then again, this is the first time I've used [http://www.evite.com/pages/invite/viewInvite.jsp?event=LUFJGWXXFJJIVFZNBZCE]Evite.com to help me organize and spread the word to my friends about the party and I think that it has been a huge help. I like the site so much I want to throw more parties just so I can use the site more. Additionally the SGATLiens board, my LiveJournal, and my Tribe Arcane mailing list have helped too. The internet is a damned handy party throwing tool.
I have a Sam's Club card now. That's going to help take a bit of the financial bite out of this affair. People keep asking me what I want for my birthday and I tell them nothing, or if they're particularly persistant I say book store gift cards. I need to start telling them help with funding this party. I can pull it off on my own, but it's going to good and truly drive me in the hole.
