"Who will love a little sparrow?
Will no one write her eulogy?
"I will," said the Earth

From dust were ye made and dust ye shall be"

Slave To The Night
Another night of insomnia. These have never been the exception...always the rule. I don't ever really want to sleep at night, even when I know I need the rest for the day ahead of me. It is the twilight hours that I feel most awake, alive with passion. These are the hours I want to be making love or tap away at my keyboard writing my stories. Unfortunately, I tend to spend hours fighting my wakefulness instead of making use of it until I don't have time to do anything before I have to go to work or get Destiny ready for school.
I wonder how much more I'd get done if I stopped fighting my nature and just went back to staying up all night and morning and sleeping in the afternoon after Wyspurr gets home from work. I know that I only need about five hours or so of sleep if I can actually sleep. So I'd crash from three to eight and still be able to spend time with my family and have a night life. Maybe I'll give that a try this coming week to see how it works out. I feel confident that my writing will benefit greatly...I just worry about my role as a parent and husband suffering from it, and those are more important. So we'll just have to have a trial run and see how it works out.

I know what you mean. I've had the same insomnia for years. Some people are just night people. I have tried nearly every schedule imaginable (not that there are many), and the one you're considering was a very viable option. As you said, see how it affects others aspects of your life. I hope your work allows you some time to come hang at the CNY party tonight! Take care.
