Life has been pretty good since my last entry. It was wonderful seeing Little Kendra Saturday. I'd missed her greatly these past few years that we've not seen each other. It's great that she's doing so well and only lives ninety minutes away in Columbus. Hopefully now that she knows where we live we'll be seeing her a lot more and when Wyspurr and I have a car again we can go visit her.
She thought about staying over, but she couldn't reach her boyfriend so she went back to Columbus Saturday night and drove back here Sunday afternoon. We had lunch and went to the park, but she wasn't able to stay long. I have to admit that it makes me feel special that someone would make a three hour round trip just to hang out with me a couple of hours.
Also on Sunday, Danny and Ocean returned from Asheville. They brought Stitch back with them, which I'm not happy about but should have expected since she's officially pregnant. You'd think she was diagnosed as terminally ill with the pity party she's throwing herself, and her selfish behavior is even more dominant. I'd really hoped Ocean would have found his own place before bringing her down, as I really don't want her here. Just the way the two of them treat each other makes me want to tranquilize them in their sleep and sneak their unconscious bodies onto a cargo plane to South America. Ocean doesn't bother me at all on his own, but the two of them together irritates the living shit out of me.
Nothing really noteworthy happened Monday. It was just one of those blah days.
This morning Stitch had an interview at Einstein Bros and it apparantly went well, so it looks like four of the five adults in this apartment are going to be working there now. I just hope they don't fuck it up, though they probably will.
This afternoon Danny and I wandered down to Little Five Pizza for some slices and to work on material for Roth & Earl. After drawing tomorrows strip and writing scripts for Friday's and Monday's strips we enjoyed a couple of pitchers at El Myr.
Hopefully I'll find something stimulating to do tomorrow. It would be nice to find someone to hang out with besides just the people I live with.
