Check Arrived
There's nothing like a $571 check to lower your stress levels significantly. Debra's school check finally arrived and though it was significantly smaller than we were expecting it means I'm not going to be digging through the couch cushions trying to finance the The Gemini Wonder Twins Birthday Bash, which is just three days away. We might even be able to pay rent next week, though that's much less certain. I'll try not to worry about that until after the party. Until then I will just hold faith that things will work out somehow and if worst comes to worst I can put my cameras in hock for a while. We always find a way.
The party is going to be great. It looks like there's going to be a pretty good turn out. I've got food lined up, even some vegetarian-friendly just in case, and Saturday we will be making a massive beer and liquor run since we won't be able to buy alcohol on the day of the party. We have three people volunteering their DJing services. A rough estimate places attendance at around 30-50 people and perhaps more. It will definitely be a night to remember.
