Finding Focus, Day 4: Nothing Special
Debra and I just returned home from eighties night at The Masquerade a bit ago. I'd been kind of reluctant to go but I really wanted to spend some time with Debra and we didn't get to go out last night because she wasn't feeling up to it. Unfortunately going wasn't much like spending time with Debra at all since she was so busy with other people that I maybe spent five or ten minutes with her out of the nearly two hours we were there. I still had a decent time, though, seeing all the familiar faces. I had plenty of people to talk to at least and burned a few calories on the dance floor. I'm starting to enjoy dancing more and more the less and less I care how bad I am at it.
I don't have time to say much since I really want to get to bed. Time to get up for work comes too early. I have a lot of thoughts on my attempts to find focus but they will have to wait. All I will say is that my progress has only been slightly disappointing.
