Another Week Passes

Ive been really wanting to make a big long post talking about many things that have been going on for better or worse in my life. Its nothing too dire, but theres just a lot of stuff on my mind I want to get out. Unfortunately, Ive just not been able to find the time. So, before I neglect my journal too long, Im going to fire off this quick entry before going to work in a short bit.

There hasnt been a lot going on this week. On Wednesday, Wyspurr and I took the kids over to Janels house where they did arts and crafts while Debra and I popped over to the Wal-Mart. It was a bit of fun.

Thursday night Wyspurr left with whorlwind and the kids for Asheville to visit her sick mother and meet up with my Dad to get the car title transferred into her name. After they left I ended up chatting with Brenda on messenger until Fridays dawn. Then we slept for four hours and got up to talk for four hours more before she had to leave for work.

After Brenda left for work, I took a bath and was getting ready to take a nap when katfireblade called. She wanted to do something, so I told her to come over and kick me awake if I was asleep. So she and her brother came over and we wandered down to Elmyr for food and cider. The cider was good and my steak taco was great, then we left. To my utter horror I realized later that Id forgotten to leave a tip. I feel utterly terrible about that.

We went back to my house. I took a 1-liter Mountain Dew bottle and filled it with Mountain Dew and vodka. Then the three of us ventured on to wander around Freedom Park a little bit. I would have preferred calmer company, as katfireblade was in manic mode, but I enjoyed our walk and was glad to have some company for a while to keep my mind off missing Debra and the kids.

Afterwards, we went back to my apartment again. We hung out a little bit until Wyspurr called to let me know she was on her way home. Then katfireblade left and I went to sleep. I woke up when Wyspurr got home. Cuddled her a bit. Now here I am.
