Wet Winter
Im soggy right now. Its raining rather nicely out there and since I was unable to locate either of Destinys two umbrellas I let her use mine while we stood at the bus stop, which necessitated me going without any shelter from the rain. That was fine by me, though. Im not a witch and wont melt when wet. I rather enjoyed it, actually.
Last night was funny, with Wyspurr, BigBlack81 and me yammering on about home decorating while Im running around with a tape measurer trying to figure out how were going to get the couch in the bedroom to fit into the livingroom. The couch thats in there now is great, but we have to clear more space in our bedroom. One of the couches has to go, and I adore the giant wrap around monster in our bedroom.
May cant come soon enough. Its nice to think of the possibilities of our future home with Brenda. It will be a bigger place and have a laundry room. It will be a house rather than an apartment so that we dont have to share walls with our neighbors and we can throw bigger parties. It will have a yard for the children to play in. Well be able to have cats. It will be filled with a lot of versatile solutions for modern living from Ikea. It wont be filled with other peoples crap.
Speaking of Brenda, I talked to Little Kendra and shes game for a trip down to Tampa in November. That will make visiting Brenda a lot cheaper than taking the bus and will have the fringe benefit of letting me spend several hours cooped up in a car with Little Kendra. Her boyfriend Brett will be coming, though, so Ill be cooped up in a car for several hours with him too. Hes an okay guy, but kind of dull.
