finally! i've been wanting tattoos for a while, but part of me never thought i'd find the kind of artist i would want to do it. (the kind whose works has so much energy it looks alive!) the only artist like this i had met was a painter... he was amazing. example: he would paint smoke and it would look like it was dissipating into the sky, not dried on a piece of paper.
but today at work my coworker came in with the start of a new tattoo ~ and it was this sort of art! amazing! it was so beautiful, had so much energy.... she's going to hook me up! i want to get a panther crawling out of my inner forearm, surrounded by roses and gardenias. then, a unicorn on my hip, and possibly a lady bug on my shoulder. (my nickname is bug)
he's booked months in advance, naturally, but i am so excited to meet him! (could it possibly be the painter i once knew?)
