Slow-ass Monday, crawling along......cant seem to get anything done......the sun is bright outside, humidity is high, pissing me off.....Only thing I'm looking forward to today is a 4-Track recorder arriving in the mail.........
Uploaded a pic finally, explanation.........This was an extreme life-altering moment for me, hanging out after a show with my favorite blues musician, Robert Cray, damn what a cool guy. I started listening to him when I was 13, in fact 'Strong Persuader' was one of the first real albums I bought.......of course I told him this like a geek, he grinned & doubled over laughing.........
What a show, & good god what a guitarist, shaking his hand told all, it was huge.........as far as his chops, I was dumbfounded by shows end.......cool memory, he was on stage & had just finished a song, then asked the audience how they were, everybody yelled back responses, then all went quiet so I yelled up 'how are you Bob?'.....he looked straight at me & said 'just fine thanks' as he rattled off a quick guitar lick.........
If I look frozen, I was, it was 18 degrees outside.......

i don't have neil young listed on my fave music, but probably should. my favorite song ever by him (and one of my favorite songs period) is "cortez the killer." that song shreds me to pieces...
Ah Neil, the man inspires me big time, hes always on in the background..............
