So...I turned 21 yesterday. I don't feel any different.I didn't get wasted...in fact I didn't even have a drink. I think (from past experience) I just might be allergic to alcohol. So I declined from drinking anything. Chris and I went to Disneyland on Friday. BIG MISTAKE...don't get me wrong I had a good time with him, but it was a holiday so everyone and their mother was there...not really a lot of asian like we thought, I would have taken them over all the children acting like their parents weren't around. I swear I'm about the get a historectomy for fun. F - kids. Parents these days let their kids do anything they want...like for instance TAKE SHANNON OUT ON HER BIRTHDAY! I swear this kid went up to my stomach and came at me with full speed. He's lucky I was in Disneyland and I saw Pooh Bear...or else! *shakes fist
In other news I recently was propositioned for a job at the CompUSA in Encinitas...seems their Warehouse Coordinator has fucked it up pretty damn good. And once again I would have to clean up someone else's mess. Now normally I would be all for leaving my job to go over to the Coast...however, it would be a bunch of rich little spoiled kids working there, and the people that shop there are snobs because...well they are. Anyway...I think I'm going to turn it down because AND THIS IS FUNNY ...because I was asked by my GM if I would be interested in the position and then he said I deserved it...like I'm going to believe anything he says. And then I go over there out of my way for NOTHING to interview with the OP's manager who used to be the Coordinator of my warehouse and she informs me that she's got to post the position at work...which I understand that's policy, but then she tells me that someone from my store has also expressed interest in it, too. Now I tried to not be shocked and I'm pretty sure I pulled it off...because the only way she would have known about the situation is if my GM told her about it...now why would be tell me about it and say I deserved it and then go ask her if she wants it, too? BECAUSE HE'S A FUCKING PRICK -that's why. Anyway, I told the lady I understood what had to happen before they could offer me the job, but now I'm not even going to bother...I know what will happen I'll have to clean up the mess and get paid shitty for it...NO THANKS!
One more work thing...Chris my co-worker who happens to be my boyfriend and tells me everything spoke with one of my managers and she told him that my GM finally realized that he never recognized me for anything I do for them at work...and was going to award me or something at the meeting this morning...So we come back early from anaheim to go to this meeting...and low and behold the breakfast was shitty, they could have covered everything they talked about in a morning meeting that we have everyday, and my GM started to cry because he said he's been asked to go to the Encinitas store...hmm INTERESTING - and he knew this for about 2 weeks...right about the time he asked me to go to encinitas...FUNNY HOW THAT WORKS...oh and you want to see me award? Here it is :

In case you didn't get my joke I wasn't even mentioned in the meeting which is not a big surprise to me..more funny than anything.
