Well, this is my first blog and I doubt anyone will stumble across this page anyway but here goes. I was asked recently how I express myself. Now that seems like a simple question yet I was at want for an answer. So here I am expressing myself. I am extremely busy with work I travel back and forth to NY on a constant basis. Friends and family think I am always on vacation they clearly do not know the life of a business traveler. You go everywhere and see nothing excluding hotel lobbies and airport terminals.
Let's see a little bit about myself. I am male in my early 30's I work for the largest computer company in the world. I do not have a personal life anymore. Not sure when that happen but it did, so I need to work on that now. My father passed away in March of this year (2006). That was hard. I am the youngest of 3. I lived most of my life in Florida and the Bahamas. I am single with no children and live alone. I use to like that arrangement (very peaceful) but taste change as we get older. Now I see little kids running around and I wonder what I am missing. Most of the people who know me say I have quite a strange sense of humor but am very kind. I don't mind that description. Well that is enough now. After all I already know who I am "Nosce te ipsum" and all. If someone stumbles across this page and wants to know more they will ask.
My current dilemma: A very close friend is getting married Nov 12th in Raleigh, NC. I will be on a business trip in NY but I cannot miss this wedding as she would kill me. Plus I really care for her and we should make time for the things we care and love, so I will fly down for the wedding and then back up to New York. She is expecting that I will be bringing someone along with me. I don't see that happening as I am not currently in a relationship and I doubt I could meet someone, hit it off with them and then ask hey for our second date how about you fly to Raleigh and I will have a driver pick you up at the airport. I really do not want to go alone weddings should be shared with others. Anyway I don't see any solutions as of now.
