Well the Oilers just lost, despite their best efforts. It has been 13 years now since they have taken it. Hopefully it isn't going to take yet another 13 to get a chance to bring it home. People can beak the Oilers as much as they want, but when it comes to Hockey dynasties they are practically the only team. Sure they shit the bed quite a bit but do they ever have hearts! Smyttie blocks shots with his face for Christ sakes! It was a valiant effort on both teams parts. Looks like Edmonton and Calgary are in the same boat now; getting all the way but not sealing the deal. They should just combine teams and call themselves the Red Deer (its right in between Calgary and Edmonton) Flaming Oil Workers.
