so i had yesterday off and indulged in my favorite activity, which is going to the movies. saw hustle and flow and me, you and everyone we know. hustle flow was pretty good, a little formulaic, but really a stand out performance by terrence howard who is really coming into his own this year, with this and his performances in crash, the upcoming get rich or die trying and four brothers howard will really get noticed this year i think. me you and everyone we know was such an interesting and original film, it's no suprise miranda july won the award for originality of vision at sundance. it's part comedy, part romance, and part drama all filled with some of the most interesting and bizarre characters to ever be placed on film. it also contains some of the best child acting i've seen recently. on a completely superficial note miranda july is so pretty and i loved her clothes in the flick, if you like offbeat comedies go see this.
on another note my goddamn job cut another day off my schedule next week as they did to everyone, which fucking sucks. i'm scraping by as it is and they keep cutting people. i really need to get a new job but i'm actually gonna get my ass in school now so hopefully i'll have a decent future ahead of me a few years down the road.

I know what you mean about how much jobs suck! At my job, they expect you to work overtime, to get everything done, and then they make you cut the overtime! So, basicly it's like working for nothing! I usually find some way to sneak around cutting it though.....I worked it ,damn it, I am going to get paid for it!!
*Oh, and thanks for hoping I get better...it's not too bad now.
