well it's superbowl week here in detroit and being the football nerd i am i'm frigging excited and i have the weekend off it dosen't get any better than that. for once it really seems that detroit isn't the city everyone forgot and is alive and well with all the hoopla. after sunday though it all goes back to the way it was. anyway today was a really good day i went and cashed my check, bought the new stephen king book. i also purchased in honor of 4stella4star the new rolling stone with kanye as jesus on the cover. well to be honest i bought it for the article on sam brownback and the religious right's goal of infiltirating our government. then i finally got off my ass and saw good night and good luck and damn was it good. one of the most timely and important films in recent memory. the way that mcarthy used fear and intimidation to control the public and media is so comparable to what our current administration is doing is very scary. really glad to see it got a best pic nom. so everyone have a good weekend be safe and have fun. oh yeah superbowl pick steelers-31 seahawks-21
