Not like me lately to do a mid-week update, but I have a little time to kill. Just got me a Samurai Jack box set from the US, as time warner still haven't got their generous hats on and sorted things out. Very groovy it is too.
Er. Anything else? Not a great deal to be fair. I reckon this update is a bit of a non-event. Sorry folks. Been filling up my rio player with all sorts of varied crap from every decade of recording, pretty much. A very catholic variety of tunes, only "sort by year" locks up all the buttons on the thing. I think I need to get the updates off of the web. Might help.
Oh, going to Halkidiki in Greece in a fortnight. I love that part of the world and I'm sure it'll be great. End of September suits me just fine as I'm not sure my northern pallour could cope with the searing 37c of the med at the moment. Needless to say, I don't burn easily, something to do with my dads olive skin. Lucky...
Do you know what I haven't read in ages... A book. There are tons of books out there, I think, now a slight change in my personal life has left me with a little more free time, it's time to expand my mind. If you've got any suggestions, I'd love to give them a whirl
Oh, I've decided that pub(l)ic transport is now too shit to even contemplate, so I'm getting my car licence sorted after my hols. It won't be too much of a ballache getting a car sorted out. It won't be pretty, at least not to begin with.
Does anyone know if there's the 'vouching' system to get back into SGUK? I can't quite remember the factors which resulted in my booting. It might of been general lack of contribution... Just wondering if there any way of gaining re-entry or am I just stuck out here, in the parochial wilderness beyond the electronic M25, so to speak.
Anyways. I have no more typing left in me, so I'm going to play some music really loud and dream of driving to werk in a banger of my very own.

My favorite is Communion by Whitley Strieber. Horror, (supposedly) non-fiction, aliens. There's a whole series, and this is the first. Excellent writer.
