Quick update, to let you know what's been happening.
Not a tremendous amount to be truthful! Just spending it with my friends and family, whilst frantically trying to divide the few hours I have after work between attempting to rest and seeing my girlfriend. Although she effectively lives only a mile or two, without decent transport getting there on my mountain bike is a pain in the arse!
Lazy boy.
Hehe. Had a few very good nights out in Manchester recently though, yesterday was no exception. Went to the bank and had a thoroughly civilised time, despite the efforts of a small army of footy fans revelling in the game, whatever that was... I'm finding however, that now the missus is teetotal I'm drinking less to avoid the hassle of looking like a grade 1 twaht in front of her when I get a little over exuberant...
Motorbike news.... Yup, it's still there. Bought an exhaust.
Bought the news QOTSA album yesterday, yeh yeh. I know it kinda betrays my "inner billy" sensibilities, but to be honest I buy what I like hearing, whether that's out in the clubs I go to OR commercial "crap" from radio 1's playlist. Besides, they have the secret weapon of Josh Hommes riffs all being from games I had on the Commodore 64 when I was a kid, it's like Ocean's tape loader tunes all over again!
Received a lovely letter from Murder_tramp which I love to bits! A cool cd and a gorgeous smelling letter! The reply is being drafted as I type, well, sort of....
I don't think there'r too much else I need to add other than to apologise for my lack of posting here. I've said I'm going to try and remedy this. In fact, what am I doing still typing this drivel. I'm off to make meaningful contributions to peoples journals...
