Well.. Update time I think.
Just to give you an idea of what I've been up to in my absence, here's a quick rundown...
I haven't been idling and doing nothing thats for sure. For those of you who didn't know, I had bailed off the site due to CHRONIC fund shortage. Nearly 6 months as an unemployed "doley" tends to have that effect. I decided, harsh as it was to ditch my online spending totally. Bye bye SG...
I then spent the following few weeks trying to keep up with all the comings and goings of my mates on the site. It's weird not having a voice and taking an INSIDERS view of the site.
A month and a bit ago I landed a job as a graphic artist. 40 people applied and I was picked. It's not glamorous or massively well paid but its a great job. I design artwork for band/event t-shirts at a screen printers in Manchester. It starts early and finishes late, but I don't care. There was no way that polit bureaux in the job centre were going to palm me off with something crap... I'm so glad I'm working again. I was going mental!
Here I am. Big chunk of my credit card paid off and back here spouting nonsense again. Feels like home!
Other such newsworthy items to tell you?? Well, I went to see 'Demented Are Go' about 6 weeks ago in a pub some of you know... The Star and Garter. Very full and very small gigs are always AMAZING. I wasn't disappointed. Been to see our friends Zombina and Blue Demon play a couple of times and very good they were too...
I'm currently putting aside large chunks of my wages to do a total rebuild on my poor old bike. It's been neglected for far too long. Maybe with the help of engineer/mechanic extraordinaire dogboy I may be mobile soon...
So, I think that is about all at the mo. Theres loads more but I don't want to stray into banality by boring you with it. Some of it involves girls, some of it involves bikes and hair products. Isn't that the way things should be?
