Urrrrgh... 
How come when girls shout too much on nights out in smokey cellars they end up sounding like Brody Armstrong and when I do the same, I sound like sexy Rod fuckin' Stewart? Not fair! Nevertheless, I'm currently hovering through a hangover of fairly epic proportions! Last night was faboulously grand!
I have a vague late-night memory of promising to dedicate this journal entry to the luvvly Bryn! Hang on, I'll open another browser window and check.... Ah.. I was a bit of a mess there. Lets not investigate any further eh? Right.. Lets get this show on the road.
Um.. Last night? Very cool evening at the retro bar basement in Manchester (under the coach station). Lots of fine rock and roll played. Plenty of fabulous bouffants and flattops going on.. Not necessarily MINE!!!
Two members of the Buzzcocks to harangue AND very briefly, I think, Mike Joyce of The *Fucking* Smiths!!! How cool??? Spent a night of 'two for one' beers a plenty. Damn! It doesn't do much for my constitution, I can tell you! Followed by some serious ska bouncing and jiving! 
Miss Becky seemed to enjoy herself too, only I think she was mildly perturbed at how crude we got! (hope you got back ok!! x ) Ah, it was ALL good after a few more beers... Wainy fuckin' HATED it, because they didnt play 'middle of the road' stuff like "Less Than Jake" or the "Mad Caddies". Tuff bananas! Its not what *that* night is about. I also learnt the dj is in a Rockabilly band called "The Tailfeathers". I must make a mental note. "18th Sept, Night and Day bar"... Headlining. OK.. Done.
Um.. I need some sparkling vimto. My almost patented hangover cure. I think I'll bring this self congratulatory, back slapping nonsense to a close now.
I'll just leave with the usual warmest regards, hugs, slobbering drunken snogs (hi Bryn!!
) and dignified arty handshakes, hoping you have a fantastic remainder of the week. See you all very soon! x x x x x x x x

ps.. Cakemix, I've definitely made a mental note of the 5th of Sept... Not heard anything regarding the job yet.. But Dad's offered his LOAN services! hehe!
