... After the storm - 13th August 2003
This will be a bit of a non-journal entry, this one!
After the metaphorical and real storms of the past few days, I feel a lull approaching..
Im starting to go a little stir-crazy in the house... Theres only so much slobbing/bumming one bum is supposed to take... Hehe! Anyway, I actually FOUND some jobs in the job centre (ones which didnt involve van driving or hod-carrying. No disrespect to either of those fine professions, but Im not exactly equipped for lugging stuff around..). WHo would have thought? Anyway, I wrote/emailed/rang and they got back in touch, so I have several interviews to needlessly get worked up over...
Damn woods..
The woods I went to find are bloody difficult to get to. One side is the Liverpool-mcr railway, the other is the m602 / bridgewater canal and the only exposed side to me is a fully working airfield.. Dammit, theres got to be some NON-tresspass access, theres a footpath going right though on the OS map, but they've all been blocked!!
Ah.. Bugger it.. I have more important things to think about. Im going to see the *Pirate* movie, finally, tomorrow. Me and Neil are already planning our sloop which we've drawn up the plans for.. Miss Bryn.. I hope you don't mind if I work up some piratey skills for REAL in some kinder waters.. I'll send ya a cut of the booty, capn!!! Watch out narrow boats.. Ex-hippies beware, we're boarding and taking your beer money!! (that'll suffice, if you help us open the lock-gates as we make our escape!!!!)
So, thats pretty much it.. Spoke, via msn, to the lovely Bex, who some of you know.. Shes chuffed to bits at her new Cramps cd purchase!! Funded by a new job in a cool record store, no less.. hehhe.. Ladyinsane, she told me it was inspired by the shirt you were wearing at the Mcr SGUK meet!!
