Left the telly on today as I went about my business.. Tuned it to a 'wallpaper' AD-free channel, which happened to be MTV2 (Umm.. sorry...) 
A really old Joy Division vid came on shot in Manchester, not far from here. It was probably like 83ish. It got me thinking just how little the landscape in Britain actually changes. The panoramic shot out of the mill window could have been done yesterday, but it was 20 years ago...
I feel old.. Im NOT actually that old.. Just certain things put emphasis on how you interact with your environment. The ageing process, I have decided, seems to be marked only by not admitting bands you like are old and crap... And a slow encroachment of more greenery to the landscape. I dont see any problems with this..
