so the weekend in maryland went pretty well. i'm an amazing cook, in case anyone didn't know. saturday night i made my mom, sister, and her fiance an amazing dinner and drank some really fantastic beer. i went to the student talent show at the school where my sister works and felt entirely out of place. high school, you are lost on me. sorry.

i had a really good day yesterday, went to walk some dogs at the rescue and made friends with a beagle named priscilla. she loved everyone, and just the sheer idea of rubbing her belly made her fall to her back and wait patiently for some love. i really wish i didn't have to be so picky about having a dog, but the cats would not be happy. after that i took a long walk around the gorge, and it was fucking gorgeous. my legs still hurt from climbing the rocks but it was worth it.
