My roomate got stung by a scorpion on his little bitch hand, now he is a little paranoid bitch and its funny. I love scorpions and spiders. The medics said that he was lucky he didn't go into cardiac arrest.

I'm finding it harder and harder everyday to fall asleep. This happened to me once about 7 years ago when i was first sent to Korea, the time change fucked my system up so bad i didn't sleep for 5 straight days before i could actually get some sleep.

Another fine day in Baghdad today...it actually rained, they were mortars but it rained, and it hailed too, the bullet kind hail.
One of my friends had a bullet go in his room, nice wake-up call.

don't expect a response in the sheehan thread: the chickenhawks have a hard time arguing against valid points. i'm glad you've come out of things in one piece. i worry every day about the people i have other there, and i know that things there are much worse than we're being told. my loved one just informed me that a not-insignificant number of her unit have been killed, and she's told me where they are. i haven't seen a single report of casualties from that area on any major news network or website. i have a sinking suspicion there's more dead than we're being told.
