I told the border guard that I consider myself a Citizen of The Universe. He was not impressed.

Well, gosh. I haven't updated in a while. In fact, I haven't looked at SG in a while. In fact, I haven't even spent much time in front of a computer in a while. It feels a bit presumptuous to hope that no one's missed be, but I suppose I can't rule out the fact that my absence might have nonetheless caused someone somewhere some mild consternation, so if that's the case I apologize. My tendonitis got horribly bad towards the end of November, and I had to limit my time in front of the computer to checking email and updating my band's website (which I also pretty much neglected).

You see, once I've typed "http://www.suicidegirls.com" into the URL on my browser, it's hard for me to resist commenting on all the front page news articles, reading and commenting on everyone's journal, responding to all their comments, and flipping through a few score pictures of young, molten co-eds in various states of undress. Before I know it, three and a half hours have gone by, everything distal to my elbows is on fire, and I've blown my chances for a good night's sleep. Also, at this point, once I've woken up from my point-click-type-gape trance and gotten into bed, I'll probably pass out before I get the chance to jerk off (see footnote 1). This is not good for me on a number of levels.

As KtKate, Dunx, and Al can attest, my behavior over the end-of-year holiday season demonstrates that moderation is still not my strong point. Still, I am going to try. Please, everybody, cross your fingers for me, unless carpal tunnel inflamation prevents you.

1. And my wrists probably hurt too much to try, anyway.

A-ha, you're back.

I have the same problem with SG; it's a terrific time-waster and I really don't have all that much time to waste. Perhaps I'll give it up for Lent.
