Next weekend I am going up to Baltimore to play drums for some person I've never met. Fortunately, I think I will meet her before then. Somehow the '90s faggy brit glam pop guitarist has been pidgeonholed as the drummer to back up singer-songwriter activist lesbian types.
I'm sure I'm going to jinx things, but this spring has been wonderfully long and mild. There hasn't been an unpleasantly hot day about which to complain yet, and I'm knocking on wood pretty firmly.
