So I had a unique experience the other day where one of my big bosses decided to just lie to another one of my big bosses and just totally pull out of her ass some crazy story-ideation-fantasy about something wrong that I supposedly did, have supposedly continued to do, and have supposedly been talked to about over and over...and of course, incidentally, never did, continued to do, or was talked to about even once, nor even though about doing...just in time to make sure that i looked bad while they picked someone else for this stupid promotion... then they decided to ask me about it and figured out it was a giant fabrication...a little homemade piece of crap slander fest...that it was totally just...invented. But it was too late to change the hiring, and it was her word against mine really, so they didn t want her to look bad, so ...I don t know if that s ever happened to u ? but it is kind of a weird feeling to have that happen to u...to just watch someone just lie...to lie horribly...about u...and then watch u get fucked for it....and then watch them walk away...and well...the average american workplace system is not built for us to achieve revenge but after seeing kill bill i did get some ideas...hmmmmmmmm....
How do u get back at someone who does this to u? Does the fact that u have nothing to hide make it easier to fight back? Is it worth risking ur job for it?

Hey, sometime's you just have to go with it, and if you make the false seem possibly, people will side with you.
That's all very underhanded, but you can play the hand you've been dealt, or you can be completely honest about how the whole thing was a lie in the first place. I'd actually be more inclined to believe that anyway.
