Hey y'all! This is a topic I know so well...I've worked in retail many, many years (more than I'd like) and I can tell you the whole system is WRONG.

As many of you know, I'm an advanced psychology student, but I have to live while I study, so I had to work in a lot of places just for the money and I can tell you, the real nightmare is to waste time doing work for people that doesn't care who you are really. I had a lot of different bosses (usually more than one boss) and if you give the minimum amount of 'power' to a person who is insecure, you'll have a TERRIBLE boss. The nightmare is the work environment, not the customer or the job itself. One of the things I learned too, is that you can make your maximum effort to satisfy those bosses, but if they are people with class dysphoria, that effort it's equal to nothing to them, they see you as a number, and not a coworker, and that's simply awful and discouraging.

Those are the main reasons why I'm on Suicide Girls. I love my career, but I also love modeling, and sustain my life with that work. So girls and boys, study, do what you really like, and try your best to avoid toxic people and environments.

Thanks @missy and @rambo for bringing in this topic, it's not really happy for me to talk about this stuff, but not everything in life is happy, sometimes shit is real hahaha but we can move on and follow our big dreams!
