First of all, I LOVE MOVIES, so this is a hard one because I can't just pick one. Let's change a little bit the topic and make it 3 favourite movies.
The Godfather: No introduction needed, one of the greatest films ever made. A great trilogy, it's made with respect (which is an important topic of the movie itself). I have to say that the second part is the best to me, it shows the original story of Vitto and you can enjoy Robert DeNiro, Marlon Brando and Al Pacino in the same movie. Also, a lot of Italy scenes and the baptism scene, which is absolutely marvelous.
Kill Bill: What can a I say about this movie? It has a great female character, vengeance is the main topic, a lot of blood, violence and a totally awesome soundtrack (which I own). Tarantino did a tremendous work in this film, including an anime scene, a legend as David Carradine, a lot of japanese culture and the gorgeous Uma Thurman. Before you ask, both movies are one to me, imposible to pick one.
Star Wars: Ok, this is cheating, I'm talking about SEVEN movies, but let me say, that the best thing about Star Wars is their universe, the look in every spaceship, the feeling of constant adventure, the magic of the mix between smugglers, bounty hunters, lightsabers, rebels, empire, the force, droids, a princess-fighter and all of it in the outerspace. It's imposible to not love this universe, it has everything that a geeky person wants. And also, I FRIGGIN' LOVE EWOKS, PLEASE BRING ME ONE FOR CHRISTMAS.
