Some time later this year, I'll have been a member for 20 years. It is amazing - visiting a website and looking back at the things you've done. 20 years....freaking nuts. I think it is cool...but I also feel I should be a little embarrassed, considering I'll reach level 40 in 6 days, and (I'm assuming) most of the gals on here are half my age. Even still. I really loved and enjoyed what the site was when it first started. I love the culture, and appreciate that the younger generation continues its legacy. Cue - The Clash - Should I Stay or Should I Go.

It is a bit of a weird feeling to think that, when SG was first launched, many of the current models on the site either hadn't been born or were toddlers!! I was in my twenties (just) when I joined SG and now I'm in my forties and I can't believe it has been two decades already!!

I stumbled upon the site November, 2001. I remember when it was first launched by Missy and "Ghost". I even remember meeting my first SG around that time, and had made a trip to Oregon. It's wild to think that at that time, many of the current SG's and hopeful's were just being born or toddlers, but I think it's cool that their path had led them to this culture, to this site. I seldom visit SG, these days.
